Can Bridesmaids dresses be absolutely different in style, and length but similar in color?

I really want them to wear whatever they wish, I know, some of them (there is 6 of them in my wedding!) prefer long fishtail dresses and some other prefer short tight and strapless ones. Will it be so awkward in my ceremony to have 6 different bridesmaid but with same color?!

It is your wedding. They can wear whatever you want them to wear. If you don’t want them all to be the same, they don’t have to. There are no rules against it.
