Dresses for a petite bride? Are there designers who make dresses shorter than average?
I hear Maggie Sottero makes dresses for the somewhat smaller bride. I have already tried David’s Bridal (blah!) and need to find a dress for a size Zero Petite. Thanks!
I would like an a line with or without cap sleeves, maybe something with a scoop neckline. Not a mermaid, I look so small at the top with a mermaid style on… I like the small detailed lace that doesn’t required a peticoat but still has a train

I know you said you tried David’s Bridal, but here is there petite page. I liked them and bought my dress there. I am 5′ 2″ though and didn’t know they had petite dresses, I had to have it shortened 7″! Anyway if you buy a less expensive dress then no big deal to have it altered.

Alfred Angelo can order any of there dresses in short, medium, or long (according to this page anyway, I’ve never personally visited one of these places).
Also, I have heard good things about http://www.therosedress.com/
They have measurements on their site. You might just have to get the dress altered though! It’s sad for us short people, I’ve always had to pay $$$ for alterations. But you might also check eBay, a lot of designers from China and other places will sell dresses on there and they will make them to your exact measurements.
