I need ideas for a poolside Wedding Decor?
I’m getting married in May this year in India. It is going to be a poolside Hindu wedding followed by an informal buffet lunch. Since the wedding is going to be in the morning, I would really really really appreciate any inexpensive ideas for decor. My theme colours are orange, white and green…
I would stay away from candles since your wedding will be in the morning. Instead, decorate around the pool with flowers (you can request some nice ‘filler’ for the bouquests to help make them look a little larger and will be easier on your budget). Or you can get some floral green garland and accesorize with colorful flowers. One thing we did with our pool was get a bunch of balloons in Our Wedding colors, blew them up in varying sizes and let them float in the pool. It looked amazing, it was really cheap to do and they lasted the entire wedding and reception.
Also, don’t be afraid to use things at your disposal. Being that you are travelling for your wedding I am assuming there will be plenty of people there that you and your fiance don’t get to see on a regular basis. Look into getting/renting/borrowing an easel to decorate and display pictures from your dating days.
Also, decorate a small table and place out a Guest Book for people to sign and offer their congrats/personal messages.
